This service provides file space on centralised storage managed by MQ IT Services. This storage contains user and departmental common files for Divisions/Office/Affiliates that are supported by MQ IT Services managed services.
Features
- Each division is allocated an agreed amount of disk space with quotas defined per users. These quotas are either managed by ITS or the divisional CLO.
- All MQ ITS managed data is backed up to tape. With the implementation of the Disaster Recovery site the data will also be replicated to the DR site.
Support
Support is provided: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Support is not provided Weekends and Public Holidays.

Availability
File Storage is operational 24 hrs 7 days a week, excluding any planned outages (see Scheduled Maintenance Plan).
Service Provided To
This service is available to all Macquarie University staff and post-graduate students.
File Storage is not available during Scheduled Maintenance Windows
