Email Signature Block (Staff Email)
To contribute towards developing a consistent image across the University and to ensure compliance with the national ESOS code, we have developed a standard email signature format for all staff.
It would be appreciated if staff could adopt the following format:

Instructions for Groupwise:
- Copy the above “Standard Email Signature”
- Open Groupwise Email
- Select ‘Tools’ from the menu bar
- Select ‘Options’ from the drop down
- Double Click on ‘Environment’
- From the file tabs select ‘Signature’
- Make sure the tick box next to the word ‘Signature’ is selected þ
- Select the button New…
- Give your signature a name, eg. Default
- The empty text box field will now be available for input
- In the empty text box field, paste the “standard email signature” copied from above
- Update the signature with your own details in the designated fields, eg. <Name> etc.
- Make sure the tick box next to the word ‘Set as Default’ is selected
- Decide whether you want to Automatically add your Signature with every email you send OR if you would like the system to prompt you - select whichever suits you.
