Objective
|
- Implement a significantly upgraded student management system (4 new releases of Student One) to provide enhanced functionality, a new internet-enabled architecture and the ability to respond to DEST strategic initiatives and mandatory requirements.
- Evaluate and implement a flexible, easy-to-use reporting tool that end-users can use without requiring specialist technical skills; that provides single reports that can draw on data from multiple sources, e.g. AMIS, FMIS and PMIS; and has drill down capabilities (XLOne reporting module).

Upgrade AMIS to the new Technology One Student Management system, including:
- Extensive business process reviews to take advantage of enhanced functionality;
- Extensive customisation of eStudent to improve web presence;
- Improved user access and easier training for new users;
- Significantly improved reporting capabilities for end users (XLOne module).

Student One upgrade:
- Tested, robust, operational Technology One Student Management system;
- Customised and enhanced eStudent web interface;
- Email delivery of important information to students (e.g., tax invoices, Commonwealth Assistance Notices, exam results);
- Integrated Reporting module.
